Lil Baby isn’t afraid to put his own stamp on a track. In fact, some of the most memorable raps of his career have come from him producing bangers on his own.
On “Freestyle,” he blankets Joseph DaVinci’s hypnotic production with references and shoutouts to the people and places that set him on his path. The ATL native is no longer a newcomer to the music scene, but he’s still hungry and eager for success.

The Bigger Picture
Lil Baby hit the Coachella stage last weekend with a set that included some of his biggest hits but also featured some heartfelt moments. He performed two songs, “California Breeze” and “Bigger Picture,” that featured a visual of a Black Lives Matter rally in support of George Floyd.

He’s still a work in progress, but The Bigger Picture is an excellent glimpse into the life of Lil Baby, and a strong indicator that he has a lot more to offer in terms of creativity. His intelligence, compassion and willingness to better himself and his community is apparent throughout the film.
Close Friends ft. Gunna
Lil Baby has released a new song called “Close Friends” featuring Gunna. The song is from Lil Baby’s upcoming project Drip Harder.
This is a very special song for Baby because it’s a tribute to his close friend. The song is a reminiscence of his friendship with fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who passed away from cancer in November of 2021.
