How to Disable Google Smart Lock

Below these options, you’ll find a list of all saved passwords that were synced to your account with the Google Smart Lock for Passwords feature. You can then delete them by clicking on the x-icon or edit them by clicking on the show-button.[8]
Disable Smart Lock on Android
Smart lock is a handy feature that makes it easier for you to save passwords for websites and apps. It also comes with the handy ability to automatically login your account based on those saved credentials. If you’re not a fan of the auto sign-in, then you may want to disable it on your Android device and Chrome browser.
To do this, open up the Google Smart Lock app and select the three vertical dots button. From there, scroll down to Settings and click on the Passwords option. There you’ll see a list of all of the passwords you’ve saved on your device. You can delete some of them by clicking on the small eye graphic.
The best part is that you can do it without having to enter the password. You’ll also notice that the Smart Lock logo is no longer shown in the app. This is because the old fashioned password manager has been replaced by Smart Lock. It’s a great way to protect your privacy and keep your information safe, but if you want to be sure that nobody can access it, you may want to disable the Smart Lock feature on your device.[9]
What About Smart Lock For Android

You can also turn off the auto-login feature of Google Smart Lock for specific sites and apps on Android. To do this, open the Google Settings app and scroll down to the “Smart Lock for Passwords” section. Under the “Never save” tab, touch Add site or app not to be saved and add the information for that website or app. Then, you won’t be asked again to save that account’s credentials. This will be a huge help for those that use multiple accounts in different apps and websites, especially if you’re always changing your passwords.[11]
