It’s an effective way to clean up your device’s memory and save a lot of space. The feature also allows you to select what you want it to remove from your phone’s storage, including downloaded files, photos, videos, and apps you’ve not opened in the last 90 days.

To enable this feature, go to Settings > Storage and toggle it on. You can also set it to automatically clear downloaded files, photos and videos, and backed up photos and videos that are 30, 60, or 90 days old.

The Smart Storage feature will then scan your devices and identify which apps, photos, and video files are consuming the most storage space. Then it will display a list of the files it can delete[17].

Once you’ve chosen what you want it to remove, click “Clear” and your phone will start deleting those files. This will give your phone more storage space and speed up the operation of apps, games, and other applications.
