In Gmail, you can use nested labels, or sub-labels, to organize your emails. You can create sub-labels under a label, but this option is only available if you are using the Gmail web app. To create sub-labels under a label, you must first uncheck the option that says Nest label under another label. You should then see the new labels appear underneath the parent label.

When creating a new folder in Gmail, you can create sub-labels. These labels are created under the parent label. They are often referred to as nested labels, and they work similarly to folders with multiple sub-folders. Using labels to organize your inbox is a great way to keep track of all of your important emails. Gmail allows you to color-code labels and organize your inbox. Color-coding will also help you know which emails are important or urgent.

You can change the color of your labels by clicking the color-coded icons on the label. Once you’ve chosen the color of your labels, you can select whether you want them to appear on your inbox or not. To change their visibility, you can use Gmail’s shortcut menu. Then, you can click the checkbox next to the label you’d like to apply to the message.

Then, hover your mouse cursor over the new folder you just created and you’ll notice three dots on the top right. From here, you can select Add Sub-label and give it a name. After that, click Create to create your sub-labels. Using the same method for labeling messages in Gmail, you can create multiple folders within a single folder.

If you’re a Gmail user, you should check out the new sub-label feature. You’ll now be able to create new labels, and categorize your emails using labels. Just open Gmail in a web browser and click the settings gear in the top-right corner. Scroll down to the Create new label button and enter a label name. Once you’ve created a label, you can nest them under each other for more flexibility.

Automatically sorting incoming emails into folders in Gmail

In Gmail, you can configure auto-sorting by starring incoming emails. When you star an email, it will automatically sort into the Starred section. The process of auto-sorting on Gmail is not difficult to learn, but the UI is rather intuitive. You only need to do it once to take advantage of this feature. Once set up, auto-sorting will save you from wasting your time sorting through a zillion emails every day.

The first step to automatically label incoming emails in Gmail is to create a mail filter. Filters help you organize and manage your inbox. By creating filters, you will save yourself the trouble of manually labeling every individual email message. You can set filters based on the email address of the sender, the name of the person who sent the message, or even a specific keyword. Click on the arrow pointing down.

You can also create labels for incoming messages in Gmail. Labels help you see which messages are important to you and which ones are not. Adding a label to an email will automatically sort it into the folder that matches it. Gmail also lets you create multiple labels for different categories. When you have more than one label, Gmail will automatically sort the emails according to their content. This feature is especially useful if you receive a large number of emails.

Once you have configured the rules, you can customize the criteria for moving messages from your primary inbox to your label. For example, if you want to move a message to another folder, you can set it up to automatically move it to a label called “Email This.” This way, you will only receive emails that you actually want to see. These filters will be automatically applied to new emails as soon as you label them.

Filtering emails can be time-consuming and tedious. Especially if you have a large number of unread messages. You don’t want to be buried under hundreds of emails. But there are simple methods to automate the process. You can use Gmail filters and label them as Smart Labels to automatically sort your emails. So, make your life easier by automating your email sorting.
